Every minute was special

Dearest Axel, Didier and David (and all of you), every minute was special, for different reasons. The climbs were brutal, the descents crazy and the weather…well the weather was awful for much of the last days. I smiled a lot, cried even more and swore more of all to never do this race again. But thanks for the amazing memories. I discovered just how deep I could go over the last 5 days. When I thought I had no energy to give, I found something. Whether it was a hug from an amazing race angel, a call or text from my previous family or a can of redbull.
