The BikingMan Brazil 2026 will include 3 mandatory checkpoints on your course.

The exact locations will be indicated on the final trace as well as on the brevet card which will be given to you in your race package.

For your safety, it is mandatory to present the following items during Check-in:

• GPS tracker – provided by the organization
• 1x bike GPS – either dedicated device or smartphone
• 1x bicycle helmet
• 1x front light (with permanent mode)
• 1x rear light (with permanent mode) – Lights with only “blinking” function are considered insufficient. The participant must ensure that they have “permanent lights both in front and rear of the bike.
• 1x bicycle pump (mandatory even when using tubeless tires)
• 1x repair kit: Patch + glue + tire changer – mandatory even when using tubeless tires
• 2x inner tubes
• 2x spare set of brake pads
• Water bottles for a minimum capacity of 1.5l of water (A 750ml bottle will be provided to each athlete by the organization)
• 1x pair of gloves
• 1x jacket or jersey with rain protection (preferably with a hood)
• Warm protection for cold (e.g. leg-warmers and arm-warmers)
• 1x Reflective clothing (eg: Audax vest, yellow safety vest…)
• 1x survival blanket
• Sunglasses with UV protection
• Mobile phone and charging device (eg: dynamo or USB battery)
• Identity document or passport + paper or digital copy of it (ex: keep a copy on your personal cloud)
• Insurance certificate or paper copy of it with you during the race

For this BikingMan Brazil, whose route includes 70% asphalt and 30% gravel sections, we recommend the following configuration:

• Gravel bike or Mountain bike recommended
  Comfort variant: Chiru Alpin
  Race variant: Chiru Vagus
• Tires of MINIMUM 40mm
• Transmission ratio of 0.65
