BikingMan points system for the World Series
Do you dream of one day becoming the BikingMan champion? To be part of the ranking of the BikingMan Series, participants must be “finisher” on a minimum of 2 BikingMan races in the same category.
For 2024, the system evolves and the 555 integrates the ranking of the series!
In order to reward athletes who undertake the most difficult challenges several times a year, the score table evolves with a points system for each event which takes into account the challenges they offer. The most demanding adventures are now better rewarded!
In this new approach, the 555 events join the series ranking. These gravel events lasting a maximum of 55 hours represent an ultra condensed version of the adventure, the challenge and the BikingMan spirit. For the sake of fairness in the effort, it seemed fair to us that they contribute to the ranking in the BikingMan championship.
- Each race in the series (555 and BikingMan) allows the rider to score points (For General and Categories rankings: Solo male, solo female, team)
- Each event rewards finishing participants according to the challenges encountered, with the most challenging events therefore earning more points.
- The amount of points is based on the rider’s position at finish, for the first 20 finishing riders
- Beyond the first 20 positions, each finisher scores points.
- The following chart details the points given for each position/finisher for events on the calendar, 555 and BikingMan events.
- Ties in rankings are ordered by best position achieved
