The route of this 4th edition will be unique with many surprises for the eyes and for the legs. We designed this trace with the wise advice of veterans Jacques Barge and Marc Lalande, well known on the BikingMan circuit. |

Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes is a territory located in the central and eastern part of France. The administrative region covers an area of nearly 70,000 km².
This region is marked by the contrast between the majestic Massif Central, its volcanic areas classified as UNESCO world heritage sites since 2018, its granite high plateaus, its vineyards and numerous forests, and the departments located in the Northern Alps (Drôme, Isère, Savoie and Haute-Savoie) with its many imposing massifs such as the Vercors.
The climate is of great variety: mountain, semi-continental, Mediterranean and oceanic, and can hold some nice surprises by bike. The typical French villages that dot the route are a feast for the eyes and the heart.
The route is 100% on asphalt roads. The quality of the tar varies and, depending on the weather conditions, the roads can be greasy and covered with leaves, stones, etc. We therefore recommend that you use:
- Road bike such as the Origine Axxome 3 GTR
- MINIMUM 25mm tires, 32 or 34mm if you are looking for ideal comfort
- Disc brakes
- Transmission: 50-34 teeth (front) – 11-34 (rear)
For your safety, you are required to bring the following equipment with you to participate in the race. The organization will ensure that you are in possession of the mandatory equipment when athletes and bikes check-in.
- GPS tracker – provided by the organization
- 1x set of 4 spare AAA batteries (lithium) (for the GPS tracker)
- Bike GPS – Wahoo / Garmin type or equivalent
- 1x bicycle helmet
- 1x front light (with permanent mode)
- 1x rear light (with permanent mode)
- 1x bicycle pump (mandatory even when using tubeless tires)
- 1x inner tube + 1x repair kit (patch + glue + tire changer – mandatory even when using tubeless tires)
- Water bottles for a minimum capacity of 1.5l of water (1x 750ml water bottle provided to each athlete by the organization)
- 1x pair of gloves
- Reflective clothing (eg: Audax vest, yellow safety vest…)
- 1x survival blanket
- 1x jacket or jersey with light rain protection, ideally with a hood
- Warm protection for the cool nights in Corsica (eg: leg and/or arm warmers)
- Sunglasses with UV protection
- Mobile phone and charging device (eg: dynamo or USB battery)
- Identity document + paper or digital copy of it (ex: keep a copy of your passport or identity card on your personal cloud)

- Check-in: Saturday July 20th from 5pm to 7pm / Sunday July 21st from 7am to 10pm.
- Pre-race Briefing: Sunday July 21st at 10:30am.
- Race Start: Sunday July 21st at 12pm.
- CP1: Location to be confirmed 1 month before the race
- CP2: Location to be confirmed 1 month before the race
- CP3: Location to be confirmed 1 month before the race
- Race cutoff time: Friday July 26th at 12pm.
- Closing lunch: Friday July 26th at 1pm (to be confirmed).
