Description
2024 saw the return of the BikingMan on Formosa, the island of Taiwan as named by the Portuguese navigators. Hit by successive typhoons, the island offered a few days of quiet weather to allow the race to happen. Bathed in the various asian atmospheres, the participants have been able to enjoy a ride around the tropical territory, cruising along the east coast with favorable winds before venturing on the more challenging western terrain, up to the highlight of the course: The Wuling climb, culminating at 3275m above-sea-level, an altitude that allows cycling above any paved roads from Europe.
