The most vertical ultra cycling race on the planet took place in July.
6 athletes out of the 17 who started from Quito (capital city of Ecuador), managed to reach Cuzco (Inca empire capital) after a self-supported race of 3.500km, 63.000m of elevation gain in the Andes Cordillera.
