We open pre-registration each year before each event. If you have pre-registered, you will have priority to validate your bib once the event is open for registration.
Make sure to create your participant profile on our dedicated Registration platform and keep ready for the opening of the registrations as some races can fill up quickly.

Each BikingMan event has a limited number of places. If your event is indicated as complete/full, you have the possibility of registering on the waiting list until a new bib is made available by the organization and/or the cancellation of a bib by another participant.
When a place becomes available, and depending on your position on the waiting list, you will receive an email inviting you to finalize your registration. You will then have 24 hours to validate the payment of your bib. After this time, it will be assigned to the next person in the waiting list.

As long as you are over 18 years old on the day of race start, BikingMan events are open to everyone, there is no qualifying event to be able to participate.
We ask you to justify the experience of a 200km ride or a good sporting experience to ensure that you have an idea of what awaits you.

An unsupported race (without assistance) is a race during which each participant will have to be autonomous to manage every aspect of their race (food, navigation, sleep, repairs). No following car that can provide any assistance is allowed. Each participant must therefore live his own adventure and get to the end of it by his own means, his own equipment and his own will.

Each BikingMan ultracyclist can find all the registrations for his events on his participant space.
He also has the possibility of personalizing it in his image by providing, among other things, his ultracyclist profile and can manage his mandatory documents.

The list of mandatory documents for your race is available in your participant space. These documents must be sent to the organization one month before the race at the latest.

By subscribing to the year-round plan, you will be covered for your leisure activities and your cycling trainings.

No, cancellation is not possible. However, we offer a transfer option (if you have not taken out cancellation insurance, see article below) allowing you to take part in another event on the calendar (see conditions of the race contract in your participant dashboard).

Yes with our partner Assur-Connect. This insurance must be taken out at the time of your registration and under certain conditions allows you to be reimbursed for part of your registration fees..

By simply logging into your participant space. click at the top left in the “my registrations” menu then “registration details” and finally on “transfer my registration”. You will have a drop-down menu which will offer you the choices of races available where there are places left.
It is possible to transfer your bib up to a maximum of 15 days before the event.

Some BikingMan events include gravel sections in their course. On the race calendar page, you have access to the percentage of gravel in each event. Make sure you read them to make the right technical choices (tires, bikes).
All gravel races require a gravel bike or a semi-rigid mountain bike.

For your peace of mind, on each BikingMan event, a secure storage solution at the race village for 1 bike bag + 1 bag of personal belongings is offered to participants.
It is not possible to access returnable bags during your race.

For events in France: by car, by train (each French round has a station nearby) or by plane if you are coming from abroad (airport accessible near the race village).
Each international stage has an airport nearby if you are coming from abroad.

Yes, for some events we offer an optional shuttle service accessible to participants. All the details and other transport solutions are indicated in the race manual downloadable from your participant space.

Preferential rates are generally negotiated for BikingMan participants and their families with our hotel partners.

In the « Race course » tab on the race page. The final official route for your bike GPS is generally shared 2 weeks before the event (except for the BikingMan X whose route is revealed on the day of the briefing).

Yes: General, Female, Male and Pair (Duo).

SOLO, your progress, refueling and repairs must be carried out alone. You can occasionally pedal and greet your traveling companions but you cannot ride with several people while taking advantage of everyone’s aspiration.
DUOs, on the other hand, have the right and obligation to ride together throughout the course. Each member of the duo must carry the entire list of mandatory equipment.

The famous Race Angels welcome hug, a cold beer and some goodies to celebrate your arrival but there is no financial prize involved.

No, only “muscle” bikes are allowed on the events.

The following bikes are authorized to take the start: tandem, recumbent bike, Brompton-type folding bike, cargo bike, etc.

120 hours (five days) for the “BikingMan” format and 60 hours for the 555 format. Your progress is monitored with a GPS tracking system and you receive a stamp from the organization at the physical checkpoints. Each checkpoint has a time limit to ensure you complete the race in time.

It is not mandatory. We advise you to bring equipment if you plan to sleep (bivouac) in nature. Seek advice on the BikingMan Facebook group if you want to camp. Finishers will be able to inform you about their strategy.

Yes, the complete list of mandatory equipment is indicated in the “mandatory equipment” tab on your race page and it will be checked at your check-in and randomly during your race by the Race Angels.

In the “Recommended bike” tab of each race page, you will find our advice. Depending on the nature of the route, its difficulty, the presence or not of gravel, we adapt this setup (type of bike, tyres, brakes, transmission) to offer you what we think is the best compromise to face the difficulties of the route.

A highly qualified bike repairer is present in the race village of certain BikingMan events during the equipment check period. He will do his best to solve your problem.

The BikingMan Academy brings together many video tutorials and testimonials from participants that will help you prepare for your adventure (physical preparation, equipment, strategy, diet, repairs during the event, etc.).

The final route is usually available 2 weeks before the start of the race after we have received all administrative authorizations from the authorities. You will then have access to it in the race manual accessible for download from your participant space.

We are dividing the final route into several separate GPX segments (preferable for running your bike GPS) and also preparing a version compatible with your smartphone.
