In search to build the ultimate endurance and exploration event of the 2021 series, we pushed the limit of the BikingMan format to its pinnacle.
Expect one of the most challenging course you have ever experienced compared to past BikingMan events as well as specific “ingredients” to guarantee the experience of a lifetime.
The participants will discover the course the day before the start during the briefing.
This event is open only to finishers of past BikingMan races who have built a track record with our race format.
Expect high mountains, a lot of climbing and places you have dreamt of exploring by bike.
The course is 100% on asphalt roads.
We recommend that you use:
- Road bike / CX / Gravel Bike
- MINIMUM 25mm tires with tubes or tubeless
- Disc brakes
- Transmission: 50-34 teeth (front) – 11-34 (rear)
For your safety, you are required to bring the following equipment with you in order to participate in the race. The organization will ensure that you are in possession of the mandatory equipment when checking in the athletes and bikes.
- GPS tracker – provided by the organization
- 1x set of 4 spare AAA (lithium) batteries (for the GPS tracker)
- Bike GPS – Wahoo / Garmin type or equivalent
- 1x bicycle helmet
- 1x front light (with permanent mode)
- 1x rear light (with permanent mode)
- 1x bicycle pump (mandatory even when using tubeless tires)
- 1x inner tube + 1x repair kit (patch + glue + tire lever) – mandatory even when using tubeless tires
- 1x pair of disc brake pads (or rim brake pads)
- Water bottles for a minimum capacity of 1.5l of water (1x 750ml water bottle provided to each athlete by the organization)
- 1x pair of gloves
- Reflective clothing (eg: Audax vest, yellow safety vest…)
- 1x survival blanket
- 1x jacket or jersey with light rain protection, ideally with hood
- Sunglasses with UV protection
- Mobile phone and charging device (eg: dynamo or USB battery)
- Passport + paper or digital copy of your passport (keep a copy of your passport in your personal cloud)

- Check-in: Sunday July 17th – from 9am to 12pm.
- Pre-race briefing: July 17th at 2pm.
