This 5th edition of the BikingMan Portugal was most likely the toughest one ever. With the heatwave crossing the country lately, temperatures have been warm but it’s above all the strength of the sun and wind that made this year’s loop around Algarve and Alentejo a true challenge, making it difficult to refuel and stay properly hydrated. Add to this the route in reverse direction and this Portugal 2023 definitely had all the ingredients for an epic ride.
