Representing Brazil Age 46 Home São Paulo Occupation Advertising Marketing Director
I was born in a sports family and my passion for it started as early as 3 years old. Jiu-jitsu was the first of my sports training, couching by the Masters Octavio de Almeida and Otávio de Almeida Junior.
I dedicated about 20 years to training, competing and teaching classes. Other sports practiced: swimming, soccer, athletics, motorcycle speed, paragliding, parachuting. I was Military for 4 years, serving as Infantary Officer of the Brazilian Army. I started cycling six years ago because I readily identified with another endurance sport. I found on the bike another way to practice sports, to seek and to make challenges, to make friendships and to know places all over the world.

Why did you sign up for IncaDivide ?
Because I love challenges. And the more challenging they are, the more I am frustrated until I can finish them.
The IncaDivide is part of this and I love the numbers: 3,500km, +63,000 meters total elevation gain, solo and without support. It sounds fantastic!
What bike/equipment are you planning to use ?
You are a 7 x times Haute Route, Rapha Cent Cols Dolomitas, 2 x Cape Epic, 1 x Titan Desert, 1x Brasil Ride, 1x La Ruta de Los Conquistadores, 1x Trans Andes Challenge finisher! Do you have a message to send to your competitors?
Much more than a physical or mental challenge, it is a spiritual way.The most important thing is to be happy.
