Relive the YouTube LIVE presentation of the 2025 season alongside sports journalist Cédric Ferreira, Jérôme Armand from Radio Sports, and Axel Carion, founder of BikingMan. Together, they discuss the new features of the courses, the surprises the organization is preparing, and the Race Angels for the upcoming events, with interactions with the community. Brazil opened the “prologue” of the season with the 555 Serra Geral at the end of March and will close it with a 1,000 km stage that will serve as the grand finale for the ultracyclists in October. Each 2025 event will offer two formats: a 1,000 km race and a 500 km “half” with varied terrain (100% road, mixed, or predominantly gravel).

The 2025 season: adventure with a capital “A” awaits you

Participating in BikingMan in 2025 means embracing a philosophy of effort and discovery. It means pushing your physical and mental limits in diverse environments, from the Moroccan desert to the Corsican mountains, via the Sri Lankan jungles. It also means joining an international community of ultracyclists who share the same values ​​of resilience, self-reliance, and a passion for adventure. Whether you’re a seasoned climber or an adventurer seeking new horizons, BikingMan offers you the opportunity to live an unforgettable experience, where every pedal stroke is a victory over yourself.

The BikingMan Ultracycling World Championship is much more than a series of races: it’s a human and sporting odyssey through the most spectacular and demanding landscapes on the planet. The 2025 season promises total immersion in adventure, with 11 events spread across three continents, combining legendary roads, dizzying passes and completely independent challenges.

Sri Lanka 2024 is revealed in video with the official presentation by Axel Carion and our partner Sri Lankan Airlines.

In 2024, the pearl of the Indian Ocean that we explored during course reconnaissance in 2022 becomes an official stage of the world series of ultradistance races. With its tropical climate, its delicious and non-technical trails, Sri Lanka is a gem to discover by bike and in particular by gravel.

The warm welcome of the Sri Lankans, the Indian-influenced gastronomy and the country’s magnificent Buddhist sites will soon no longer hold any secrets for the BikingWomen and BikingMen who will take up the challenge.

With around 20% trails and 80% secondary roads, the immersion promises to be spectacular because few adventurers have been able to explore the track on which we worked on gravel.

The Sri Lankan Airlines company is a partner of the event to facilitate access by bicycle to the island.

The 2024 BikingMan calendar continues to be revealed with a live presentation of the 2024 routes.

In 2024, the BikingMan series returns to its origins, to its passion for adventure and exploration by taking you internationally with the return of the Taiwan event, made legendary by the rich documentary of L’Equipe TV, and for a new event with an exotic atmosphere on the wonderful playground that is Sri Lanka, with an event combining gravel and accessible road, ideal entry point to the BikingMan series and an idyllic escape from the winter gloom.

2024 will also be the year of 555, our new gravel format, with new editions in Vercors and in the Alpes-Maritimes and a new event in Brazil, in the province of Santa Catarina, with enchanting gravel and sumptuous landscapes.

Of course, the historic courses will not be neglected, quite the contrary, since the AURA, Alpes-Maritimes (ex-France) and events >Corsica will offer completely revised routes to offer you ever more memorable experiences and explorations.

]]> Corsica #3 was supposed to start tomorrow at 5:00 am (french time) from Biguglia village!

Due to the global lockdown, the race has been postponed to late October but to keep the spirit up, we have organized a virtual Zwift week where everyone can join (if you have a smart Home Trainer) to attempt completing the longest rides of Zwift virtual app. It is not a race, the purpose is to ride together at your own pace and enjoy a solid week of training with fellow bikingman athletes.

Here are the 3 stages:

– Stage 1: Monday 27th at 5:00 am french time (like the official Corsica start!)
Meetup time: 4:45 am
Map Watopia: The Uber Pretzel
Distance: 129,3 km

– Stage 2: Wednesday 29th at 1:00 pm (french time)
Meetup time: 12:45 am
Map London: London PRL FULL
Distance: 174,3 km

– Stage 3: Friday 1st May at 7:00 pm (french time)
Meetup time: 6:45 pm
Map Watopia: Alpes d’Huez
Distance: 20 km

HOW TO JOIN the virtual ride ?

If you plan to join, simply FOLLOW the user: Axel #bikingman on ZWIFT so that he can invite you to join the meetup on a single or multiple stages.

MAKE SURE to connect to ZWIFT at least 10 minutes before the meetup starts. Otherwise you won’t be able to join the group ride and official chat of the meetup.
